Permanent Racism

Hate of LBGT is slowly abetting. Hate of people of color is decreasing, as the younger generations are free of the old burdens and the Hispanic population increases. The racism targeted at Asians was strongest in the West but has slowly morphed into the milder and wider rejection of all foreigners.

The only racism still raging strongly and is in particularly strong in Europe is Anti-Semitism. When one follows blogs on the left one cannot miss the visceral hate of Jews that pops up in comments. When American Jews aren't the target, bottomless hate of Israel shows up. For instance, a respectable blogger has predicted that AIPAC will murder the president or another high functionary of the US government. Same blogger stated that the Iranian nuclear threat is pure Israeli propaganda. Of course, Wikileaks has demonstrated that many Arab countries are as worried and as convinced of Iran plans as Israel. Don’t expect an apology.

The Europeans, and the Brits in particular, has resurrected Anti-Semitism to the level of 1930s. Despite substantial Jews population, European describe the same Jews when they live in Israel as blood thirsty, war criminals, imperialists, war mongers and child killers. Hate does employ logic; otherwise, one will have difficulty explaining how a short plane ride changes a person from a regular European citizen into a monster.

It seems that Anti-Semitism will stay with us forever.
