Obama suffers from the ugly, most of the baseless and damaging attacks by the Republican. It slowly sticks and stays as common wisdom. The stimulus caused the high unemployment, health care is communism; are just the tip of the iceberg float in our political life. All these could have been avoided had Obama started by prosecuting the Bush regime criminals starting with Cheney. Had he come out the gate and blamed Bush for unemployment, the financial collapse, Katrina, torture, etc. Had this happened the Republican would have been on the defensive, probably disorganized and, clearly, not attacking him viciously.
The mistake is not only a colossal political blunder, but it also prevented history from recording the lawless, criminal and anti-democratic regime we had in the 21st century.
The reason Obama behaved that mindlessly is not the post-partisan nonsense he was spewing, but rather because he is a lousy politician. His political sophistication fits a high school student. Now we do not only suffer Obama's incompetence as a leader, his giving away the store to Wall Street and his sell out to the health insurance companies and big Pharma, we also have to suffer Mitch McConnell and his daily crap spreading.
