Pathetic Democratic Candidates

Democrats have developed a fantastic ability to nominate pathetic candidates to national and state positions. We still live in the shadow of Carter who ushered Reagan in, Dukakis who enabled Bush I and Kerry who in the doomsdays of the Iraq war couldn't speak clearly enough to defeat Bush II who can't even speak English.

We had many colorless and bizarre candidates all over the states. California, for instance, had an anemic Gray Davis and colorless Angelides.

In the Virginia gubernatorial campaign of 2009, the Democratic candidate is Creigh Deeds. Why would anyone think that Deeds can run for the job is a mystery. But to emphasize his shortcomings, Deeds ran for almost two months negative ads on TV based on his opponents McDonnell long ago written school work. Deeds didn't have a single ad explaining his agenda. If we reflect a typical voter, the barrage of negative ads without a single agenda ad, made us despise Deeds and see him as unfit for any job let alone the governor one.
