The pirates are not stupid. Although it took them a while, they finally landed the excuse that Western intellectuals give to all murderous movements. "They made me do it." The Talibans are opposed to the {Russian, American] occupation. Hamas rockets schools because Gaza is besieged (the siege started after Hamas started rockets, but it sounds great). The Iraqis who kill untold thousands of people do it because of the American occupation. (The same butchery took place in Iraq before the American occupation, but there was a single butcher.)
The pirates are right; stop stealing their fish.
