Gaza - the UNRWA problem

UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, originally was charged with the care of the refugees until they could be repatriated, compensated, or resettled.

UNRWA has, in fact, found itself faced with the job of housing, feeding, and educating people for long periods of time in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.

With the years, UNRWA came closer and closer to the Palestinian organizations it lived with. In effect, UNRWA in Gaza represents Hamas' interests, its goal and serves as its propaganda arm. This process is not unique to UNRWA, it is common to many services that come to identify themselves with the customers.

When a church feeds the homeless and identifies itself with the homeless, society gains. When UNRWA identifies with Hamas, it becomes part of a terrorist organization.

That is exactly what UNRWA, which the brain dead media calls the UN, is doing. It fights the Israelis, lies to the media about casualties, stops supplying aid to the population because Hamas benefits from the media and even governments beat up on Israel. The interests of the hungry Gazan becomes secondary.

In moral terms, UNRWA in Gaza is a terror organization.
